NICE swing gate operators
Automation of a swing gate is carried out using two basic components: control unit and gate operator.
There is usually also a requirement for remote gate control, which is provided by a pair of: radio receiver and radio transmitter (remote control). Common accessories include photocells to detect obstacles in the passage, and a warning warning light.
Kits are available in two versions: basic, which includes the operator(s), control unit, radio receiver, remote control and extended, which also includes photocells and a warning light. The kits offer great value, and we can customise them to your requirements while keeping your discount.

Comparison of swing gate operators
In general, we offer two operator ranges, Wingo and Toona.
The Wingo range is our basic, best-selling range for light-duty use. Connecting accessories to the MC424L control unit is conventional. The Wingo range includes two models: Wingo WG2024 and Wingo WG3524.
The Toona range is based on more modern technology NICE BlueBUS, where each accessory connects to the MC824H control unit using only a two-core cable. The Toona range includes three models: Toona TO4024, TO5024, TO7024. When choosing the right operator, you should consider above all the width and weight of the gate leaf, as well as whether your gate has a solid or see-through infill.

Note: As you can see from the charts, the values shown are limits, i.e. a gate leaf up to 2m/400kg does notmean that the maximum permissible gate leaf for that operator must be 2m and 400kg; rather, it can be, for example, 2m and 200kg, or 1m and 400kg, or values between these limits as shown in the chart.
Whether your gate has a solid or see-through infill is important when determining the operator voltage. If you have a large, opaque gate and live in a particularly windy area, we recommend choosing a 230V operator variant. The wind can push against the gate, which acts like a sail, causing the operator to detect an obstacle and stop the movement. You will then need to send another command to close the gate. 230-volt operator models have motors that are less sensitive.
