System for a folding swing gate

Using a folding mechanism:

Folding swing gates have the same features as standard swing gates. The difference is that a folding gate consists of two sections that fold back against each other as the gate opens, reducing the clearance required.

A suitable solution when:

there is limited space for the gate leaf to open,
there is enough room for the gate leaf, but you want to keep the space available for parking (typically in front of a garage),
the ground slopes upward
you want to have an operator on only one side of the swing gate

Folding mechanisms have no height restrictions.

For a double-leaf gate, you need to purchase two mechanisms.. The mechanisms are universal, with no distinction between left- and right-hand sides.

Automating a folding gate:

Gates with a folding mechanism are designed to be automated with a gate operator. You can use standard types of gate operators: articulated-arm, piston, articulated-arm, underground. We recommend using an operator with a soft start and slow-down before reaching the end position; this will extend the mechanism's service life..

Unlike a standard swing gate, the folding mechanism introduces one additional safety hazard while moving. To prevent fingers from getting caught in the mechanism, also use safety photocells.
