Spare parts for NICE gate openers

1. Identification of spare parts for NICE operators

Italian manufacturer NICE S.p.A. until 2019 used to identify spare parts for NICE operators numbers, which you can find in the exploded-view diagrams for individual operators. These numbers can be used to check the availability and price of a spare part. This is an older parts identification system. The numbers have been replaced by letters, which usually identify an assembly of spare parts.

2. How to proceed

It is important to know the operator model. You can usually find it in the documents supplied with the operator (invoice, delivery note, packaging, manual, etc.). If you are unsure of your operator's model, you can send us a photo of it—ideally of its control unit—and we will try to identify the device from the photo.

If you know the operator model, refer to the exploded-view spare parts diagram for that operator and select the numbers of the spare parts you need. If you cannot find an exploded-view spare parts diagram for your operator, we can email it to you on request if it is available. Once you have identified the spare parts, we can check their availability and price.

Please send enquiries to [email protected].

3. What to consider: repair the old unit or buy a new one

For older devices, delivery can take several weeks. It is also worth comparing the cost of buying spare parts for an older device with the cost of a new one. If you decide to buy a new operator, it is worth checking whether your existing accessories are compatible with it, or whether you will also need to buy accessories for the new operator (photocells, warning light, remote controls, etc.). We can check this for you if you send us, for example, a photo of your older device to verify compatibility.

For example, if you decide to buy a new NICE operator, you do not need to replace the toothed rack, as it will be compatible (module 4); however, older photocells, for example, may not be compatible.

4. Common accessories for NICE operators

Photocells, warning lights, remote controls, control units etc. are not spare parts; they are standard accessories that are always in stock and can be ordered from our contact page. We can advise you on selecting accessories and ensuring they are compatible with one another.
