Guide system for a cantilever sliding gate
Choice of the gate guide depends on the layout. It depends on whether there is existing fencing, to which the guide can be attached from the side, or whether you plan to install a separate post for the sliding gate guide. The second factor affecting the choice between top and side guidance is whether you want the gate infill to extend above the highest structural profile. If so, side guide is more suitable.
