Wheels for track-mounted gates

Sliding gate wheels are fitted to the bottom of the gate structure and run along the track. Choosing the right wheels is important for smooth operation and gate stability.

When choosing the right wheels for your application, consider the following:

1. Wheel profile type - U-shaped, V-shaped, or H-shaped.

Our range includes U-groove wheels , and V-groove wheels and compatible tracks. Our range also includes H-groove wheels in two versions: model 1, model 2.

2. Gate weight - Wheel load capacity depends on the bearing's load rating.

The wheels are fitted with ball bearings and a protective ring that prevents dirt and dust from entering the ball race. The bearings are lubricated for life and do not need to be greased. The wheels in our range are single-bearing and double-bearing.

A single pair of wheels is usually fitted to each gate, so the load capacity of the wheels is specified for the pair. (you can find this information on the product page in the table).

3. Mounting type – distance from the track – direct mounting (individual wheels), with a bracket for bolting or welding.

The wheels in our range come with either a bolting bracket or a bracket designed for welded joints. The bracket distributes the load on the wheel. Direct mounting attaches to the gate structure and is suitable for lighter gates. For swivel wheels (for curved gates), holes must be drilled in the gate profile. When choosing, it is worth considering how difficult replacement will be.

With a recessed bracket, the offset from the track is reduced by half.
