Traffic lights
Traffic lights are used as traffic signals to control traffic at equipment such as barriers, automatic gates, loading systems, construction sites, entrances to premises, and entrances to private streets. A traffic light is suitable wherever you need to regulate the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
Our range includes 24 V traffic lights as well as 230 V traffic lights, with standard bulbs as well as LED traffic lights.
Ways to control traffic lights:
A traffic light can be connected to the automation control unit for the equipment it is installed with (for example, a barrier control unit). We also offer standalone control units that can operate both 24 V and 230 V traffic lights.
Traffic lights can be controlled with standard switches. To switch on the required light on a traffic signal, relay photocells, inductive loops or microwave motion detectors. Motion detectors can distinguish between vehicles and pedestrians. They can also distinguish a vehicle approaching the gate from one that is simply passing by.

The Italian manufacturer Stagnoli offers 4 model ranges of traffic lights: Era, Apollo Plast, Apollo Aluminio and Chronos. Era traffic lights have two chambers. All other ranges are available as single-chamber models in all traffic light colours, two-chamber models with red above green, and three-chamber models with red above orange above green. The Apollo ranges also include 2-in-1 traffic lights, where a single-chamber light can switch from green to red and vice versa.
