Radar motion detectors for automatically opening and closing gates, barriers, or other automated systems.
The detectors can distinguish between vehicles and pedestrians. They can also distinguish a vehicle approaching the gate from one merely passing by. They detect all movement in the monitored area, can identify its direction, and can distinguish between different moving objects, opening the gate only when the desired movement is detected. The settings are adjustable.
They minimize unnecessary gate or barrier openings and are a practical alternative to installing inductive loops in the ground.
