Telescopic system for a cantilever gate
Telescopic gates are the solution for situations where there isn't enough room to open a standard sliding gate. When choosing the right solution, you need to know two things: the opening width and the space available to retract the open gate.

Self-supporting telescopic gates provide space savings when opening of approx. 30–50% compared with a standard self-supporting gate, which can be a deciding factor in many cases.
A two-section self-supporting gate saves 30–50% of the space required to open it. For example, a standard self-supporting gate with a clear opening of 4m requires approximately 4.85m of space to open. If you use a two-section telescopic gate with the same 4m clear opening, approximately 3.6m of space, including clearance, will be sufficient to open it.
Dimensions are given as “approximate” because the exact length of each gate section may vary depending on the overlap you require between the individual sections. You can adjust this to suit your needs. In general, however, we can use the calculation shown in the images:

Standard gate operators are used, but the individual sections of a telescopic gate open simultaneously. As a result, a two-section telescopic gate opens twice as fast.
