Cantilever gates with a short overhang Intelligate
IntelliGate is a system for cantilever sliding gates with an extra-short counterbalance tail. It makes it possible to design a cantilever gate even where there is not enough room for a conventional counterbalance tail. The gate retains the advantages of a cantilever design, namely operation without a ground track.
The system uses a different telescopic running gear design and distributes forces differently throughout the gate structure, allowing the counterbalance section to be considerably shorter than on a conventional cantilever gate. The result is a shorter overall gate length when open and more efficient use of space.
The IntelliGate telescopic running gear system is designed for situations where there is not enough room to fully open a cantilever gate with a standard counterbalance tail. The specific system type is selected according to the clear opening width, gate weight and available opening space.
