Operator features NICE Toona TO5024
The operator features a two-piece body made of die-cast aluminium with a polyester coating resistant to weathering. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The lead screw nut is made of bronze to ensure high strength and quiet operation. The starting capacitor is housed inside the operator to make installation as simple as possible. The operators are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series by Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to more frequent use than the 230V version. However, it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with solid, opaque gate infill.
The operator has a magnetic encoder, allowing the Moonclever MC824HR30 operator control unit to determine its position along the travel path. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBUS, which allows easy programming, automatic limit-position learning, automatic fault diagnosis, pause-time adjustment in automatic closing mode, pedestrian opening, slowing before the end positions, a dual obstacle-impact detection system, and emergency operation when used with the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of operator safety edges, and much more. To connect the PS324 you need a CABLA11.
