Description of NICE CABLA11 - cable adapter for PS124 and PS324 backup power supplies, for R30 control units
The CABLA11 adapter is used to connect a backup battery PS124 or PS324 to an R30-version control unit.
If you are using an older battery type (PS124/PS324), standby mode must be disabled in the control panel because the older battery is not compatible with energy-saving mode. In this case, average energy consumption will also increase.
Using the CABLA11 adapter, the backup power supply PS124 can also be connected to the latest-generation NICE Robus operators - NICE Robus RBS (Robus RBS400, Robus RBS600, Robus RBS600HS).
Installing the backup battery NICE PS124
- Disconnect the operator from the mains power supply.
- Connect the battery to the operator.
The connectors for connecting to the operator are not polarized, so their orientation does not matter when plugging them in.
The CABLA11 adapter is equipped with two connectors. One connector is narrower and the other is wider. Use the wider connector to connect to the operator and the narrower connector to connect to the battery.
How to connect to the NICE Robus operator:
| 1. Pry off the plastic cover over the battery connector on the control unit. |
2. Plug the cable's wider connector into the connector on the control unit. 3. Connect the narrower end of the cable to the battery and place the battery next to the control unit. |
