Drive features NICE Toona TO5024
The drive features a two-piece die-cast aluminium housing with a polyester finish resistant to weathering. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and engineering polymers. The lead screw is made of bronze to ensure strength and quiet operation. The starting capacitor is housed inside the drive to make installation as easy as possible. The drives are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The drive uses 24V, making it better suited to more frequent use than the 230V version, but is not suitable for windy locations, especially with opaque, solid gate infill. The drive has a magnetic encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 drive control unit to determine its position along the travel path. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which allows easy programming, automatic limit-position learning, automatic fault diagnosis, adjustment of the pause time in automatic-closing mode, pedestrian access, deceleration before the end positions, dual obstacle-impact detection, and emergency operation when used with the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of safety edges for the drive, and much more.
