Operator features NICE Toona TO4024
The operator is made from a two-part die-cast aluminium body with a polyester finish that resists weathering. All moving internal parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The drive nut is made of bronze to ensure strength and quiet operation. The start-up capacitor is located inside the operator for the simplest possible installation. The operators are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to situations involving more frequent use than the 230V version. However, it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with opaque, solid gate infill.
The operator has a magnetic encoder, which allows the Moonclever MC824HR30 operator control unit to determine where along its travel the operator is. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which enables simple programming, automatic end-position learning, automatic fault diagnosis, adjustment of the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian access, deceleration before the end positions, dual obstacle-impact detection, possible emergency operation when using the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of operator safety edges, and much more. To connect the backup power supply PS324 a CABLA11.
