Operator features NICE Toona TO4024
The operator features a two-piece die-cast aluminium housing with a polyester finish resistant to weathering. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The drive nut is made of bronze for strength and quiet operation. The start-up capacitor is housed inside the operator to make installation as straightforward as possible. The operators are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to situations involving more frequent use than the 230V version, but it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with opaque, solid gate infill.
The operator has a magnetic encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 operator control unit to determine the operator's position along its travel. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which enables easy programming, automatic limit-position learning, automatic fault diagnosis, adjustment of the pause time in automatic-closing mode, pedestrian opening, deceleration before reaching the end positions, a dual obstacle-impact detection system, possible emergency operation when using the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of safety edges, and much more.
