Drive features NICE Toona TO4024
The drive has a two-piece die-cast aluminium housing with a polyester finish that is resistant to weathering. All moving internal parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The lead nut is made of bronze to ensure strength and quiet operation. The starting capacitor is located inside the drive to make installation as easy as possible. The drives are dimensionally backwards-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The drive uses 24V, making it more suitable for situations involving more frequent use than the 230V version, but conversely is not suitable for windy environments, especially with opaque, solid gate infills. The drive has a magnetic encoder, which allows the Moonclever MC824HR30 drive control unit to determine its position along the travel path. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which enables simple programming, automatic detection of end positions, automatic fault diagnosis, adjustment of the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian passage, deceleration before the end positions, a dual obstacle-impact detection system, possible emergency operation when using the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of safety edges for the drive, and much more.
