Operator features NICE Toona TO5024
The operator is made from a two-piece die-cast aluminium body with a polyester coating resistant to the elements. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The lead nut is made of bronze for strength and quiet operation. The starting capacitor is located inside the operator to make installation as easy as possible. The operators are dimensionally backwards compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to situations with more frequent use than the 230V version. However, it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with opaque, solid gate infill.
The operator has a magnetic encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 operator control unit to determine its position along the travel path. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBUS, which allows easy programming, automatic limit-position learning, automatic fault diagnostics, adjustment of the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian access, deceleration before the end positions, dual obstacle-impact detection, and emergency operation when using the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of operator safety edges, and much more.
