Drive kit NICE Toona 5 TO5024 is designed for the automation of swing gates with a maximum leaf length of 5 m and a weight of up to 500 kg. The operator is based on 24V and features PLA13 mechanical opening stop. The operator is non-reversible. Operator features NICE Toona TO5024
The operator features a two-piece die-cast aluminium body with a polyester finish that resists weathering. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The drive nut is made of bronze to ensure high strength and quiet operation. The start capacitor is housed inside the operator to make installation as simple as possible. The operators are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are identical. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to more frequent use than the 230V version, but it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with opaque, solid gate infill.
The operator has a magnetic encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 operator control unit to determine the operator's position along its travel. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBUS, which allows easy programming, automatic detection of end positions, automatic fault diagnosis, setting the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian access, slowdown before the end positions, dual obstacle detection, and emergency operation when used with the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of operator safety edge, and much more.
