The drives are generally supplied as standard with front brackets for welding to the gate leaf. The advantage of this alternative bracket is that you don’t need to weld—just screw it on. This is useful, for example, if you have a wooden gate, don’t have a sufficiently strong surface for welding, or simply want to make the job easier. The bracket can of course be unscrewed later, and if you don’t get the distance right the first time, you can reposition it. An alternative is the PLA15 adjustable front bracket.
