Operator features NICE Toona TO5024
The operator features a two-piece body made from die-cast aluminium, with a polyester coating resistant to weathering. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The lead nut is made of bronze for strength and quiet operation. The start capacitor is housed inside the operator to make installation as simple as possible. The operators are dimensionally backward compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto ranges from Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The operator uses 24V, making it better suited to situations involving more frequent use than the 230V version. However, it is not suitable for windy locations, especially with solid, opaque gate infill.
The operator has a digital inductive encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 control unit for the operator to know precisely the motor's current rotational position. The MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which enables simple programming, automatic learning of end positions, automatic fault diagnostics, adjustment of the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian opening, deceleration before reaching end positions, a dual obstacle-detection system, emergency operation when used with the PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of safety edges for the operator, and much more.
