Drive features NICE Toona TO5024
The drive is made from a two-piece die-cast aluminium housing with a polyester coating that resists the effects of weather. All internal moving parts are made of steel, light alloys and technopolymers. The lead screw nut is made of bronze to ensure high strength and quiet operation. The start capacitor is located inside the drive to make installation as simple as possible. The drives are dimensionally backward-compatible with the previous Moby and Pluto series from the Italian manufacturer NICE; all mounting dimensions and pin diameters are the same. The drive uses 24V, making it better suited to situations involving more frequent use than the 230V version. However, this 24V version is not suitable for windy conditions, especially with opaque, solid gate infill.
The drive has a magnetic encoder, which enables the Moonclever MC824HR30 control unit for the drive to determine the drive's position along its travel path. MC824HR30 control unit is equipped with the BlueBus, which allows simple programming, automatic detection of limit positions, automatic fault diagnostics, adjustment of the pause time in automatic closing mode, pedestrian opening, deceleration before the end positions, a dual obstacle-impact detection system, and emergency operation when using PS324 backup power supply, an input for all types of safety edges, and much more. To connect the PS324 , you need a CABLA11.
