Description of NICE RUN1200 HS – high-speed drive for sliding gates (A)
NICE RUN1200HS is a fast non-reversible electromechanical operator for sliding gates up to 1,200 kg. It has a 24 V DC motor, built-in RUA6 and an electromechanical limit switch. The complete operator connects to a 230 V ACmains supply; the motor voltage and the power supply for the unit are different specifications.
The no-load speed reaches approximately 0.37 m/s (22 m/min). A 7 m opening takes approximately 18–19 s; the actual opening time is longer due to acceleration, deceleration and load. It is suitable where fast passage is important, provided safety requirements are also met. When planning operation, use the limits based on length and weight, rather than a single cycle count for every gate.
This is a standalone operator for one sliding gate leaf. In the event of a power failure, it can be released with a key. Choose the receiver, transmitter and safety accessories to suit the required configuration; see the kit overview.

Compatible accessories
| What | Why | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Warning lights | They alert you when the gate is moving. Choose a version compatible with FLASH and an antenna that matches the receiver frequency. FLASH wiring. | |
| Photocells | They protect the passage according to their address; BlueBUS uses two non-polarised wires. Wiring and addresses. | |
| Wireless photocells | EPMOW requires an IBW interface. FT210B has a battery-powered transmitter and a receiver connected to BlueBUS; it can also transmit the signal from a moving safety edge. | |
| Radio receivers | Install the SM plug-in receiver with the power disconnected. The transmitter's coding and frequency must be compatible with the selected receiver. | |
| Transmitters | Gate control; the ON3ELR long-range transmitter requires an LR receiver. Two-way functions require a compatible receiver. Pairing. | |
| Antenna | For improved range. Connect the coaxial cable to the antenna input; the frequency must be compatible with the receiver. | |
| Key switches / keypads / readers | The key switch’s volt-free contacts control P.P./OPEN/CLOSE. BlueBUS keypads and readers are enrolled as devices; radio models are paired with the receiver. | |
| Wi-Fi / GSM control | The universal module controls P.P. via an isolated volt-free COM–NO contact; select the power supply separately according to the voltage and current draw limit. BiDi-WiFi is not compatible with RUA6. | |
| Rack | Module 4; select the material, fixing method and load capacity to suit the entire gate leaf. A nylon rack is not automatically suitable for every heavy gate. Rack installation. | |
| Backup power supply | RUA6 uses a separate charger and two compatible 12 V batteries. Backup power options. |
With an existing installation, older components may remain functional LUCYB, MLBT, ELB, MOFB, MOSE, MOTXR, SMXI. When replacing a component, check the voltage, interface and coding; compatibility with an older component does not mean it is still in current production. Choose new equipment from the compatible alternatives listed above.
Kits and standalone operator
The kits differ in the included accessories, not in the motor’s limits. Each kit includes one operator; the rack length must suit the gate’s full travel.

Choosing a drive and operating limits
What matters is the weight and length of the entire moving gate leaf, including the infill and counterweight, not just the opening width. The gate must move smoothly along its entire travel, with correct guidance and solid mechanical stops. Measure the resistance at start-up and while moving, and allow for conditions to worsen in winter.
| Parameter | Limit for one drive unit |
|---|---|
| Gate leaf weight | 1 200 kg |
| Gate leaf length | 14 m |
| Limit switch | Electromechanical – brackets on the rack operate the lever |
Meeting both maximum limits does not automatically mean the gate is suitable. Also check the sum of the load indices and the following cycle limits. Higher speed does not increase the permitted weight or remove safety requirements.
Number of cycles by gate length and weight
One cycle is a complete opening and closing. Multiply the cycles per hour and consecutive cycles in the row for the gate length by the weight factor. Round down for planning purposes. Temperature and mechanical resistance may reduce the result further.
| Gate leaf length | Max. cycles/hour | Max. consecutive cycles |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 4 m | 36 | 21 |
| Over 4 m up to 6 m | 26 | 15 |
| Over 6 m up to 8 m | 23 | 12 |
| Over 8 m up to 10 m | 17 | 10 |
| Over 10 m up to 12 m | 14 | 8 |
| Over 12 m up to 14 m | 13 | 7 |
| Gate leaf weight | Available cycle factor |
|---|---|
| 50–100 kg | 100 % |
| Over 100 kg up to 200 kg | 80 % |
| Over 200 kg up to 400 kg | 75 % |
| Over 400 kg up to 550 kg | 60 % |
| Over 550 kg up to 800 kg | 50 % |
| Over 800 kg up to 1 000 kg | 40 % |
| Over 1 000 kg up to 1 200 kg | 30 % |
Example: 7 m / 900 kg gate leaf → 23 × 0.40 and 12 × 0.40. For planning, no more than 9 cycles/hour and 4 consecutive cycles, before applying further restrictions. The figure of 60 cycles/hour is not an operating limit for every gate; the tables and conditions for the specific setup determine the limit.
Estimated service life
Add the weight, length and other relevant impact indices. Include other impacts if they are more than 10% likely to occur. The graph shows an estimated number of cycles with regular maintenance, not a guarantee or a number of years. The horizontal axis shows the sum of the indices in %, and the vertical axis shows the number of cycles.
If the total exceeds 100%, operating conditions are outside acceptable limits. Choose the drive based on the complete gate and its operating conditions; meeting the weight limit alone does not guarantee suitability.
If you need help verifying your choice, contact us with the gate length, weight and estimated number of cycles.
Installing a sliding gate and drive
Before installation, disengage the drive and check that the gate moves smoothly by hand, is guided securely, is protected against lifting off its track, and has solid end stops at both ends. The gate must not move on its own. Protect the drive from flooding; the mounting surface must be solid and allow safe manual release.
- Prepare the cable conduits and the foundation plate with four anchors. Leave no more than 40 mm of the threads protruding above the plate. 40 mm.
- Level the plate according to the original drawing, parallel to the gate leaf. Allow the concrete to cure completely.
- Secure the motor with nuts and washers, align it with the rack, then tighten the fixings securely once positioned.
- Secure the cables to prevent them from being pulled out or contacting moving parts. Refit all grommet and cover seals.
Rack and pinion clearance
Use the matching module 4 rack; choose the material and load capacity to suit the gate. The weight of the gate leaf must not rest on the pinion. Maintain a 1–2 mm clearance along the entire travel.
Align the rack sections with the pinion; lateral deviation during manual operation must not exceed 5 mm. Check that the joints are smooth and every section is securely fastened. Do not use a more powerful motor to compensate for a poorly installed rack.
Electromechanical limit switches
- Move the gate leaf by hand to the open position, stopping at least 2–3 cm before the fixed end stop.
- Slide the bracket along the rack in the opening direction until it activates the limit switch. Move it further in the same direction by at least 2 cm and secure it.
- Set the closed-position bracket in the same way.
- After engaging the drive and programming the travel, check that the gate stops before both fixed end stops. The limit-switch brackets do not replace mechanical end stops.
Wiring
| Connection | Cross-section / type | Max. length |
|---|---|---|
| 230 V mains | 3 × 1.5 mm² | 30 m |
| FLASH | 2 × 0,5 mm² | 20 m |
| Antenna | RG58 coaxial cable | 20 m; under 5 m recommended |
| BlueBUS | 2 × 0,5 mm² | 30 m |
| Key switch | 2 cables, 2 × 0,5 mm² or 4 × 0,5 mm² | 50 m |
| Connecting the safety edge | 2 × 0,5 mm² | 30 m; flexible cable or FT210B recommended |
For mains wiring over 30 m, use a larger cross-section, for example 3 × 2,5 mm², and suitable protective earthing. BlueBUS runs over 30 m and up to 50 m require 2 × 1 mm². Cable cross-sections and protection must be assessed by an electrician based on the route, environment and voltage drop; signal cables are not a substitute for mains wiring.
Electrical wiring and RUA6 control unit
Have the electrical wiring carried out by a qualified person. Before opening the unit or changing terminal connections, disconnect the mains supply and backup batteries, and verify that the circuit is de-energized. The mains supply, motor and accessory outputs have different functions and voltages.
230 V AC supply
| Terminal | Connection |
|---|---|
| L | Live conductor |
| N | Neutral conductor |
| PE / earth symbol | Protective green/yellow conductor; Class I drives must be earthed |
Route the mains cable through a separate, smaller gland. Secure the accessory wires in the larger gland; leave approximately 20–30 cm of slack inside. The membranes must fit tightly around the cables, and the wiring must not obstruct the cover.
Terminal layout and functions
| Terminal | Purpose, voltage and polarity |
|---|---|
| FLASH | Output for the warning light; load according to the wiring diagram: 12 V / 21 W per bulb, up to two bulbs. ELDC or WLT connect according to their instructions; they are not a continuous power supply. For a polarized warning light, follow the markings on its terminals and the FLASH output. The +/− order for the 24 V auxiliary power supply does not apply to FLASH. |
| S.C.A. | 24 V DC indicator output, max. 4 W, tolerance −30% / +50%. Function according to II/L4. For a polarized device, check the actual output markings; do not connect the auxiliary supply’s +/− terminals here. |
| BLUEBUS | Power and communication for compatible devices, in parallel over two wires with no polarity. Limit: 15 BlueBUS load units, not 15 pairs of photocells. |
| STOP | Volt-free NO, NC or 8.2 kΩ resistive devices. If the learned state changes, the control unit interprets this as a stop followed by a brief reverse movement. No supply +/−. |
| P.P. / STEP-BY-STEP | Volt-free NO contact for step-by-step control. Connect the accessory relay’s COM–NO terminals to the two P.P. terminals; polarity does not matter. The module’s power supply is a separate pair. |
| OPEN | Volt-free NO contact for opening; polarity does not matter. |
| CLOSE | Volt-free NO contact for closing; with I/L7 ON, it triggers partial opening. No polarity. |
| ANTENNA / AERIAL | Connect the coaxial cable’s centre conductor and shield as marked at the antenna input. These are not power supply +/− terminals; select the correct frequency. |
Auxiliary power supply – exact polarity
Power for an external module can be drawn from the 24 V DC, −30% / +50%, 100 mA maximum total. The module must tolerate a range of approximately 16.8–36 V. The positions below apply when the STOP and P.P. connectors have the same orientation as in the original image.
| Power / command | RUA6 terminal | Module connection |
|---|---|---|
| Minus − | Right-hand STOP terminal | − / GND |
| Plus + | Left-hand P.P. terminal | + / V+ |
| Step-by-step command | Both P.P. terminals | Isolated volt-free COM–NO contact |
For higher current draw, an unsuitable voltage range or current peaks, use a separate power supply. Connect only an isolated volt-free command to P.P. Do not use BlueBUS or FLASH as an auxiliary power supply.
EKS key switch
For the EKS use one pair C–NO on both OPEN terminals and the other pair C–NO on both CLOSE terminals. Do not use NC contacts for these commands. For control with a single step-by-step contact, connect C–NO to both P.P. terminals. These are volt-free contacts with no polarity; do not apply 230 V or an external 24 V supply to the command inputs.
Safety edges and STOP
Connect NO contacts in parallel and NC contacts in series. Two 8.2 kΩ resistive devices can be connected in parallel; more devices require the specified cascade wiring with an end-of-line resistor. A combination of NO and NC uses the NC branch with an 8.2 kΩ resistor, as shown in the relevant wiring diagram. Repeat the learning procedure and safety test after every change; do not replace a safety edge with a simple jumper.
BlueBUS photocells and addressing
Current EPMB and other compatible BlueBUS photocells should be connected in parallel to the BLUEBUS pair, with no polarity. The TX and RX units of one pair must have the same jumper settings. Assign a different supported address to each additional pair. After adding, removing or changing the address of a device, always repeat the device learning procedure.
| Address | Position and response |
|---|---|
| PHOTO | Outer pair approximately 50 cm above ground; reverses movement while closing. |
| PHOTO II | Outer pair approximately 100 cm above ground; reverses movement while closing. |
| PHOTO 1 | Inner pair approximately 50 cm above ground; reverses movement while closing. |
| PHOTO 1 II | Inner pair approximately 100 cm above ground; reverses movement while closing. |
| PHOTO 2 | Outer pair for protection while opening. |
| PHOTO 2 II | Inner pair for protection while opening. |
| PHOTO 3 | One pair for protection while opening and closing; position it to prevent interference with the other pairs. |
For the specific jumper settings, see EPMB photocells – jumper settings table. Choose the protective function according to the actual gate’s risk areas; height alone does not determine safety. For EPMOW, you need the IBW interface. For FT210B the transmitter is battery-powered, and the receiver connects to BlueBUS.
Special Mode 2 – BlueBUS changes to 12 V
Mode 2 is an alternative wiring configuration for standard photocells, not a setting for BlueBUS photocells. To activate it, hold OPEN + SET for more than 8 seconds. Release only when L1/L2 are flashing very rapidly, wait for recognition to complete, and check that the STOP LED is lit. BlueBUS changes to an AUX output 12 V DC / max. 6 W; OPEN and CLOSE take over the PHOTO and PHOTO 2 functions. BlueBUS devices must not be connected to this pair in this mode.
| Output in Mode 2 | Polarity relative to the original image |
|---|---|
| Former BLUEBUS pair – AUX 12 V DC | Left-hand terminal +, right-hand terminal −; connect + to + and − to − on the accessory |
Select the mode before wiring and follow the complete procedure in the installation manual. This +/− marking does not apply in standard BlueBUS mode, in which compatible photocells are connected with no polarity.
Initial startup and learning
Check the mounting, stops, opening directions, and all terminals. Leave the gate leaf approximately halfway along its travel and engage the gearmotor lock. After switching on, BLUEBUS should flash approximately once per second; the photocells must indicate normal operation. If an error occurs, first disconnect the power supply and remove the cause.
Setting the opening direction
With the power disconnected, set the direction switch according to the drive position and the direction the gate leaf moves. With the orientation as shown in the picture: opening to the left = switch on the left; opening to the right = switch on the right. After switching on, check that the first movement during learning is opening.

Device recognition and STOP input
- Press and hold OPEN + STOP/SET for approximately 3 seconds.
- Release when L1 and L2 flash rapidly.
- Wait for the process to finish. L1/L2 will stop flashing to indicate that learning is required, and the STOP LED must be lit. L3/L4 may continue to indicate that travel learning is required.
- After changing BlueBUS or STOP, repeat the procedure and test each safety device individually.
Travel learning
- After the devices have been successfully recognized, press and hold CLOSE + STOP/SET for approximately 3 seconds.
- Release when movement begins. The first movement must be opening.
- If the gate closes, stop it using STOP, disconnect the power supply, and correct the direction setting. Then repeat the learning procedure.
- Allow it to complete a full opening to the limit switch, followed by a full closing. There must be no people or obstacles in the travel path.
- Check both end positions, partial opening, deceleration, and several complete cycles.
The standard procedure uses deceleration approximately 50–70 cm before the end of travel. Alternatively, travel learning with CLOSE + SET held for more than 8 seconds sets deceleration to approximately 10 cm and a very high speed. Release the buttons when L3/L4 flash very rapidly after 8 seconds, then let travel learning finish; this is not the standard procedure for every gate. A technician may use this procedure only with suitable mechanics, verified safety, and a subsequent force measurement. Do not confuse it with device recognition mode 2.
Testing and handover
The technician checks opening and closing, stopping before the stops, the accessories, and protection at all hazardous points. Test the photocells and safety edges individually in both directions, according to their function. If protection relies on force limitation, impact forces must be measured; repeat the test after changing the speed, force, sensitivity, or acceleration. The user must be given the keys and instructions on manual release, safe operation, and maintenance.
Two drives – Master/Slave
For two opposing sliding gate leaves, each motor must have its own mains supply. Use two matching drives and the correct procedure for controlling them; two motors do not increase the limit for a single gate leaf. The BlueBUS connection must follow the sequence 1 Master → 1 Slave and 2 Master → 2 Slave with the connectors oriented the same way, as shown in the original diagram in the installation PDF. Numbers 1/2 indicate positions, not power supply +/−.
- With the power disconnected, set the direction for both gate leaves and connect them according to the Master/Slave diagram.
- Connect the shared controls and receiver to the Master. On the second drive, set I/L8 = ON.
- Recognize the devices on the Slave first, then on the Master.
- Start travel learning on the Master and check the movement of both gate leaves and all safety devices.
FLASH, S.C.A., STOP, and P.P. can be connected separately to the Slave. P.P. on the Slave opens only its own gate leaf fully; OPEN/CLOSE are not used on the Slave. Assess the safety settings and diagnostics for the second drive as well.
Receiver and remote control
With the power disconnected, fit the receiver into its SM socket. The pairing and memory-clearing procedure depends on the receiver OXIBD, OXI or OXILR; use its button, LED indicators, and NICE remote control pairing instructions. Gate travel learning is not transmitter pairing or radio memory clearing.
RUA6 programming
The OPEN ▲ and CLOSE ▼ buttons change the selection; STOP/SET stops and confirms settings. The control board has LEDs L1–L8. The gate must be stationary during adjustment. Record the original values before making changes; a technician must adjust safety settings and carry out a subsequent test.
Level I – ON/OFF
- Press and hold STOP/SET until L1 starts flashing, approximately 3 seconds; then release.
- Use OPEN/CLOSE to select the function LED.
- Press SET briefly to toggle the status: a short flash = OFF, a long flash = ON.
- To exit, wait 10 seconds without pressing any buttons. Changes are saved.
| LED – function and meaning | Status |
|---|---|
| L1 – Automatic closing ON: closes after opening, following the pause set by II/L1; factory setting: 30 seconds. OFF: waits for a command. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L2 – Close after photocell activation Closes 5 seconds after the photocell is cleared. With I/L1 OFF, it opens fully first; with I/L1 ON, it stops opening when the photocell is cleared. A STOP command cancels the function for the current manoeuvre. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L3 – Always close After power is restored, closes the open gate; gives a 5-second warning before movement. When OFF, it remains stationary. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L4 – Standby One minute after movement ends, switches off BlueBUS and the LEDs, except for the slowly flashing BLUEBUS LED; a control command wakes the system again. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L5 – Peak force ON disables soft start and uses peak force. This does not replace correcting excessive friction; measure safety forces after making a change. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L6 – Pre-flashing ON: warning signal 3 seconds before movement. OFF: the warning light starts flashing when movement begins. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L7 – CLOSE = partial opening ON changes the CLOSE command from both the terminal and the radio control to partial opening as set by II/L6. OFF leaves closing enabled. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
| L8 – Slave ON only on the slave drive for Master/Slave. OFF is Master. | OFF – factory setting ON – enabled |
Outside programming, the function LED is lit when ON and off when OFF. Flashing L1/L2 or L3/L4 may indicate that learning is required; see LED diagnostics.
Level II – values
- Hold SET for approximately 3 s; release when L1 flashes.
- Use OPEN/CLOSE to select the parameter input LED.
- Press and hold SET again. After approximately 3 s, the LED for the current value lights up.
- While continuing to hold SET, select a value using the OPEN/CLOSE buttons; then release SET.
- Set the next parameter in the same way; to save and exit, wait 10 s without pressing any buttons.
| Input LED – name and description | Setting LED – value |
|---|---|
| L1 – Pause duration Applies when I/L1 is enabled. | L1 – 5 s L2 – 15 s L3 – 30 s (factory setting) L4 – 45 s L5 – 60 s L6 – 80 s L7 – 120 s L8 – 180 s |
| L2 – Step-by-step mode Sequence for the P.P. input and the corresponding radio command. | L1 – Open → stop → close → stop L2 – Open → stop → close → open (factory setting) L3 – Open → close → open → close L4 – Condominium mode: ignores the next command while opening; reopens while closing L5 – Condominium mode 2: same as L4; a command lasting more than 2 s stops the gate L6 – Step-by-step mode 2: a command shorter than 2 s partially opens the gate L7 – Hold-to-run: movement continues while the command is held L8 – Semi-automatic opening; closing while the command is held |
| L3 – Motor speed After changing this setting, check stopping, slow-down and safe force levels. Select the speed according to the gate; the maximum no-load speed is not a guaranteed speed under load. | L1 – Very slow L2 – Slow L3 – Medium L4 – Fast (factory setting) L5 – Very fast L6 – Extremely fast L7 – Fast opening, slow closing L8 – Extremely fast opening, fast closing |
| L4 – S.C.A. output 24 V DC output function / max. 4 W. | L8 – Error history Reads the last eight operations; this is not a default adjustable value. | L1 – Most recent operation L2 – Second most recent operation L3 – Third most recent operation L4 – Fourth most recent operation L5 – Fifth most recent operation L6 – Sixth most recent operation L7 – Seventh most recent operation L8 – Eighth most recent operation |
Timer and gate held open
A volt-free P.P. command lasting more than 2 s opens the gate and keeps it open for as long as the command is active, for example from a timer switch. The exception is mode II/L2, value L5 “Condominium mode 2”. If a command remains active unexpectedly, check the timer or module relay.
Diagnostics and troubleshooting
FLASH may indicate a fault with two identical sets of flashes separated by a pause of approximately 1 s. The number of flashes is unrelated to the value LED used in programming.
| Flashes | Cause and next step |
|---|---|
| 1 + 1 | BlueBUS does not match the learned devices. Check the cables, addresses and photocell status; after fixing the issue, repeat the learning procedure. |
| 2 + 2 | Photocell triggered. Clear the beam, clean the optics, and check the alignment and address in the function table. |
| 3 + 3 | Obstacle detected or excessive resistance. First, check the mechanics, then the settings II/L5 and safe force settings. |
| 4 + 4 | STOP activated. Check the edge, contacts, and status of the learned input; STOP wiring. |
| 5 + 5 | Internal parameter error. Wait at least 30 s and try the command again; if the issue recurs, contact service. |
| 6 + 6 | Permitted manoeuvres exceeded. Allow the drive to cool down and adjust operation according to the number of cycles and load. |
| 7 + 7 | Internal electrical circuit fault. A technician should disconnect all power sources, then restore power after a short interval; if the issue recurs, contact service. |
| 8 + 8 | A continuous command blocks further commands. Check the button, timer, and input relays. |
Board LEDs
| Signal | Meaning / check |
|---|---|
| BLUEBUS – off | No power or a fault; check the supply and fuses with the power disconnected. |
| BLUEBUS – regularly flashing once per second | Normal operation. It may flash twice briefly when an input changes. |
| STOP – lit | The learned STOP input is in its normal state. Off = activated or in a different state. |
| P.P. / OPEN / CLOSE – lit | A command is active on the corresponding input. If there is no command, check for a stuck button or relay. |
| L1 and L2 flashing | Request to learn devices. |
| L3 and L4 flashing | Request to learn the travel limits. |
How to read the history
- Enter Level II: press SET for about 3 s, then release when L1 lights up.
- Select input LED L8. Hold SET for about 3 s until the manoeuvre LED appears.
- While holding SET, use OPEN/CLOSE to select the last manoeuvres, L1–L8. The number of flashes corresponds to the error in the table above.
- Release SET and wait 10 s.
If a safety device is not working
Have the faulty safety device repaired as soon as possible. Temporary movement is possible only under direct supervision and with the travel path safely clear: after a command is rejected, issue the command again within 3 s and hold it. After about 2 s, the gate moves while you hold the command; releasing it stops the gate. This is not automatic operation and does not replace a repair. Do not jumper safety inputs for permanent use.
Maintenance and service counter
Perform maintenance at least every 6 months or 20,000 manoeuvres since the last maintenance, whichever comes first. One opening and one closing count as two manoeuvres. Check more frequently in harsh environments.
- Disconnect all power sources, including any backup supply.
- Check that fasteners are secure and inspect for corrosion and wear on the wheel, rack, and gate guide; remove debris from the track and photocell optics.
- After restoring power, repeat the checks of the end positions, photocells, safety edges, and safe force settings.
- After servicing, record the maintenance and reset the service counter.
| Counter status | Maintenance indication |
|---|---|
| Below 80% of the set limit | FLASH operates normally; the maintenance output lights for 2 s at the start of opening. |
| 81–100% | FLASH stays lit for 2 s at the start; the maintenance indicator flashes while the gate is moving. |
| Over 100% | FLASH lights for 2 s at both the start and end; the maintenance indicator flashes continuously. |
Reading and resetting the service counter
Set the limit using II/L7. To read the counter, press SET for about 3 s, select L7, then hold SET for a further 3 s. Briefly press OPEN/CLOSE while continuing to hold SET, and count the flashes: one flash represents 10% of the set limit. Then release SET.
Reset after maintenance: with L7 selected and SET still held, press OPEN + CLOSE simultaneously for at least 5 s. When the rapid flashing confirms the reset, release the buttons. Wait 10 s for the process to finish. This is only a maintenance counter; it does not erase transmitters or replace device or travel-limit learning.
Relearning and receiver memory
After changing the wiring, repeat the relevant learning procedure. Erase the radio memory according to the specific receiver. Do not use the service-counter reset procedure as a general-purpose control-unit reset.
Manual release
Release the gate only when it is stationary. Disconnect the power and secure the gate leaf against moving on its own. When released, you are supporting the full weight of the gate.
- Slide the lock cover aside.
- Insert the key and turn it clockwise.
- Pull out the release handle and move the gate by hand.
- Reverse the procedure to re-engage the drive. Before operating electrically, check that the gearbox has re-engaged.
RUN1200HS backup power supply
The RUA6 has a dedicated connection for the PS524 charger and two matching batteries, B12-B, each 12 V. Connect the backup supply according to the instructions for this assembly—not to the 100 mA auxiliary output and not in place of BlueBUS.
Do not confuse it with the PS124 backup supply. The backup supply consists of a charger for RUN1200HS and two matching B12-B 12 V / 6 Ah batteries. Select parts intended for this assembly and, when replacing them, check the type and connectors of the original parts. Test the backup supply on the actual gate; the number of openings depends on the condition of the batteries and the load.
