Description of Galvanized steel rack 30x8mm, M4
Steel toothed rack galvanised. Each section is 1 m long, 8 mm thick and has a tooth height of 30 mm. See the drawing for the other dimensions.
The toothed rack is supplied with 3 weld-on nuts for mounting and 3 fixing bolts. The nuts are primarily intended to be welded to the gate. The sections are compatible with one another and can be easily joined together. There are 3 mounting points per metre of rack.
The gear module is 4 and is compatible with drives NICE in our range, as well as most drives from other brands.
Toothed rack is made from high-quality steel and protected against corrosion by galvanising. This rack is designed primarily for heavy gates with a high number of operating cycles per day.
How many metres of rack do I need for my gate?
For your gate, you will probably need a toothed rack with a length equal to the clear opening width plus 1 m (or enough to extend slightly beyond the drive’s pinion when the gate is closed and the drive is fixed in place). Example: My gate opening is 3.00 m wide, and the drive pinion axis is 30 cm from the start of the opening.
You will need approximately 3.50 m of toothed rack (based on our experience, we recommend ordering 4.00 m to make sure you have enough).
