Description of Plastic-coated toothed rack, 30x20mm, with a 12x12mm steel core, M4
Nylon toothed rack with metal core. Ensures quieter operation of the sliding gate. The rack is made up of 34 cm segments, so one metre of teeth consists of three segments. The listed price is per metre. Rack thickness: 20 mm; tooth height: 28 mm. See the drawing for the other dimensions.
The toothed rack is easy to install and does not require welding. Supplied with 6 self-tapping screws and 6 washers for mounting. There are 6 mounting points per 1 m of rack. Easy to install, with height adjustment via the elongated mounting slot. The segments are compatible with one another and can be easily joined.
The tooth module is 4 and is compatible with drives Nice available in our range, as well as most drives from other brands (KEY, CAME, Beninca, FAAC and others).
Toothed rack is made of steel cord coated with hard-wearing nylon for quiet operation of the gate as it opens and closes. The robust design ensures a long service life for the rack, which is resistant to wear.
How many metres of toothed rack do I need for my gate?
For your gate, you will probably need toothed rack with a length equal to the clear opening width plus 1 m (or slightly beyond the pinion of a stationary drive when the gate is closed). Example: My gate opening is 3.00 m wide, and the drive pinion axis is 30 cm from the beginning of the opening.
You will need approximately 3.50 m of toothed rack (in our experience, it is better to order 4.00 m so you don't run short).
