Mounting profiles for aluminium slats
Mounting profiles are designed for anchoring aluminium slats. The inside of the slat is hollow, with grooves on the inner sides of the walls for securing screws into the profile. The mounting profile has a recessed groove on the outside for accurately positioning the screws..
How to anchor the slat in the mounting profile:
Rectangular slats are usually mounted vertically in the mounting profile, using a 20.5 mm-wide profile.
The slat is 16 mm wide at all heights, so you can combine slats of different heights in the mounting profile to create a pattern.
Parallelogram-shaped slats are mounted at an angle using a 50 mm-wide profile. There is a recessed groove in the centre of the mounting profile, where you can mark the distances between the individual slat points and secure them with screws. Mark the spacing between the individual slat positions along it, then secure the slats with screws.
Depending on the spacing between the slats, you can create an opaque or semi-transparent infill.
Mounting profiles for slats are designed according to their shape for installation between (U), or front mounting (UT, T with a protrusion and L with a protrusion) on the structure. Installation between means that slats secured in a U-profile are mounted inside the perimeter of the structure. Front mounting, in front of the posts, is possible thanks to the protrusion onto the front of the structure's frame.
Aluminium slats are available in the same finish as the mounting profiles.
