Aluminum fixing profile for fence slats has a UT shape, with a textured black RAL 9005 finish, making it suitable for installation in front of the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The outer width of the profile is 50 mm, the overlap is 44 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m, or 6 m.

On the outside of the profile, there are recessed grooves for accurately positioning the screws horizontally. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7981 with a pan head, 3.5 x 19 mm.
An advantage of the UT profile is that the gate infill can be installed without welding; the protruding T-section of the profile can be screwed to a post or structural frame.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR PARALLELOGRAM-SHAPED ALUMINIUM SLATS:
The mounting UT profile has pre-recessed grooves, and you can drill pilot holes for screws in the central groove. There are guide grooves on the sides inside the hollow slat, where the screw fastens. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all slats have the same angle, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 15 mm. The recommended clearance from the bottom when positioning the first slat is 42 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM LOUVRE SLATS:
The mounting UT profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves. When installing louvre slats, use the following grooves to drill pilot holes for the screws: the outer grooves (they are 24 mm apart). There are guide grooves in the folds inside the hollow slat, where the screw fastens. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all slats have the same angle, creating a regular pattern. Measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 49 mm. The slat is 108 mm high when angled.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR TEARDROP-SHAPED ALUMINIUM SLATS:
The mounting UT profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves: one in the centre and two on each side of it. For teardrop-shaped aluminium slats, use the two grooves beside the central groove—the second groove in from the right and left edges. They are 16 mm apart.
Guide grooves run down the centre inside the hollow slat, where the screw fastens. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all slats have the same angle, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 29 mm. The height of the slat when installed at an angle in the mounting profile is 89 mm.

SURFACE FINISH
Aluminium is an excellent material, offering corrosion and weather resistance as well as a long service life. The mounting profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and is supplied with a textured black RAL 9005 finish.
The profile is finished with a textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven. A matt thermosetting powder coating is used with Qualicoat certification and a polyester resin base for outdoor use.
This finish is characterised by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing. It is intended for construction applications where colour and gloss durability are essential.
