Aluminium fence slat mounting profile for fence slats is U-shaped, with a finish in grey RAL 9007, making it suitable for installation between posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile's external width is 50 mm, the projection is 22 mm and the length is 2m, 3m or 6m.

On the outside of the profile there are pre-recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, countersunk head, 3.5x19 mm.
Mounting profile compatibility:
The profile is suitable for angled installation of the following slat models:
- aluminium parallelogram-shaped slat
- aluminium louvre slat (with a wall thickness of 1.6 or 2 mm)
- teardrop-shaped slat

Installation method for aluminium parallelogram-shaped slats:
The mounting U-profile has pre-recessed grooves; you can pre-drill screw holes in the central groove. There are guide grooves on the sides inside the hollow slat, into which the screw is fastened. When installing the slats at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. The distance between the two inner guide grooves in the slat when angled is 15mm. The recommended distance from the bottom for positioning the first slat is 42mm.

Installation method for aluminium louvre slats:
The mounting U-profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves. When installing louvre slats, use the grooves at the edges to pre-drill the screw holes (the grooves are 24mm apart). There are guide grooves in the folds inside the hollow slat, into which the screw is fastened. When installing the slats at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination, creating a regular pattern. Measure the spacing between slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. The distance between the two inner guide grooves in the slat when angled is 49mm.

Installation method for teardrop-shaped aluminium slats:
The mounting U-profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves: one in the centre and two on each side of it. For teardrop-shaped aluminium slats, use the two grooves beside the central one—that is, the second groove from the right and the second groove from the left. They are 16mm apart. Guide grooves run down the centre inside the hollow slat, into which the screw is fastened. When installing the slats at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. The distance between the two inner guide grooves in the slat when angled is 29mm. The height of the slat when installed at an angle in the mounting profile is 89mm.

Finish
Aluminium is an excellent material, offering corrosion and weather resistance as well as a long service life. The mounting profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 grade aluminium and is supplied with a grey RAL 9007 finish.
The profile is powder-coated. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven. A matte thermosetting powder coating is used with Qualicoat certification and a polyester-resin base for outdoor use.
This finish offers long-lasting performance and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is intended for use in construction, where lasting colour and gloss are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires that at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish, approximately 1 cm of profile is left at each end for holding during coating.. At the ends of the profile there is a small hole, which you should take into account. The hole does not interfere with installation, but if necessary, the end can easily be cut off.
