Aluminium fixing profile for fence slats is U-shaped, with a textured anthracite RAL 7016 finish, making it suitable for installation between posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile's external width is 50 mm, the overlap is 22 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.

On the outside of the profile there are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless-steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, 3.5x19 mm, with countersunk heads.
FIXING PROFILE COMPATIBILITY:
The profile is suitable for angled installation of the following slat models:

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM RHOMBUS SLATS:
The fixing U-profile has pre-recessed grooves; you can drill pilot holes for the screws in the central groove. The inside of the hollow slat has guide grooves along the sides that hold the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all the slats have the same incline, creating a regular angled pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. With the slat angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 15 mm. The recommended distance from the bottom when installing the first slat is 42 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM LOUVRE SLATS:
The fixing U-profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves. When installing louvre slats, use the grooves at the edges to drill pilot holes for the screws (they are 24 mm apart). The hollow slat has guide grooves in its bends that hold the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all the slats have the same incline, creating a regular angled pattern. Measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. With the slat angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 49 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM TEARDROP SLATS:
The fixing U-profile has 5 pre-recessed grooves: one in the centre and two on each side of it. For teardrop-shaped aluminium slats, use the two grooves beside the central groove—that is, the second groove in from each edge. They are 16 mm apart. The hollow slat has guide grooves running down the centre that hold the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all the slats have the same incline, creating a regular angled pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. With the slat angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 29 mm. The height of the slat when installed at an angle in the fixing profile is 89 mm.

FINISH
Aluminium is an excellent material that resists corrosion and the effects of weather, and has a long service life. The fixing profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and supplied with a textured anthracite RAL 7016 finish.
The profile is finished with a textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven. A matt thermosetting powder coating is used with Qualicoat certification, based on polyester resins, and intended for outdoor use..
This finish is highly durable and resistant to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is intended for use in construction, where long-lasting colour and gloss are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish, approximately 1 cm at each end of the profile to be left uncoated so it can be held during painting.. At the ends of the profile, there is a small hole, which you should allow for. This hole does not interfere with installation, but if necessary, the end can simply be cut off.
