Description of Aluminium fixing profile for slats, U-shaped, 20.5 mm wide, textured black RAL 9005
Aluminum fixing profile for fence slats has a U shapewith a textured RAL 9005 black finish, so it is suitable for installation between the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The external width of the profile is 20.5 mm, the projection is 23 mm and the length is 2m, 3m or 6m.

On the outside of the profile, there are recessed grooves for accurately positioning the screws horizontally. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, with a countersunk head, 3.5x19 mm.
MOUNTING PROFILE COMPATIBILITY:
The profile is suitable for vertical installation of the following slat models:
Black aluminium slats
- rectangular, 16 mm wide, and in the following heights: 100 mm
- parallelogram-shaped, 108x16 mm
Aluminium slats without a surface finish
- rectangular, 16 mm wide, and in the following heights: 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 160 mm, 200 mm
- parallelogram-shaped, 108x16 mm,
- and slats used to complete the pattern when alternating slat heights – 20x16 mm and anodised slat, 20x16 mm.
Aluminium slats in anthracite
- with a smooth finish, rectangular, 16 mm wide, and in the following heights: 80 mm, 100 mm, 160 mm
- with a smooth finish – parallelogram-shaped, 108x16 mm,
- with a textured finish, rectangular, in the following sizes: 80 mm, 100 mm, 160 mm

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR PARALLELOGRAM-SHAPED ALUMINIUM SLATS:
The mounting U-channel has a recessed groove into which you can pre-drill holes for the screws. There are guide grooves on the inside of the hollow slat, along both sides, which hold the screw in place.
A black, textured-finish parallelogram-shaped fence slat together with a mounting U-channel in the same colour and finish creates a coordinated, modern look.
The parallelogram-shaped slat can also be installed at an angle to create a louvre pattern, but a 50 mm-wide mounting profile must be used.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR RECTANGULAR ALUMINIUM SLATS:
As an example, we can use an 80x16 mm anthracite aluminium fence slat, rectangular in shape, with a textured finish, in the same colour and finish as the mounting profile. For vertical installation, slide the mounting profile into the slat and screw it in place. A recessed groove runs down the centre of the mounting profile's outer face. You can pre-drill screw holes in it at intervals to suit your preferred pattern. Once the slat has been slid into the mounting profile, the screw is held by the guide groove inside the slat.

SURFACE FINISH
Aluminium is an excellent material, offering corrosion and weather resistance as well as a long service life. The mounting profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and is supplied with a textured black RAL 9005 finish.
The profile is powder-coated. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven.
This finish is characterised by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is designed for use in construction, where lasting colour and gloss are essential.
