Description of Aluminium mounting profile for slats, UT-shaped, 20.5 mm wide
Aluminum fixing profile for fence slats is U-shaped, making it suitable for installation in front of the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The external width of the profile is 20.5 mm, the projection is 44 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.
On the outside of the profile there are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7981 with a pan head, 3.5x19 mm.
Fixing profile compatibility:
The profile is suitable for vertically mounting the following slat models:
- rectangular aluminum slat in various lengths (60, 80, 100, 160)
- rectangular aluminum slat (anodized layer)
- parallelogram-shaped slat

Surface finish
In general, aluminum is an excellent material that resists corrosion and weathering and has a long service life. The fixing profile is made of EN AW-6060 T66 aluminum and is supplied unfinished. Before applying paint, if required, thoroughly degrease the aluminum surface and roughen it with fine-grit sandpaper.
