Aluminium fixing profile for fence slats has a UT-shaped profile with a wood-effect walnut finish and textured surface. It is suitable for installation in front of the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The external width of the profile is 50 mm, the projection is 44 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.

On the outside of the profile there are recessed grooves for accurately positioning the screws horizontally. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7981 with a pan head, 3.5x19 mm.
The advantage of the U-shaped profile is that the gate infill can be installed without welding: the projecting T-section of the profile can be screwed to a post or structural frame.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM RHOMBUS-PROFILE SLATS:
The fixing U-profile has pre-formed grooves; you can drill screw holes in the central groove. Inside the hollow slat, there are guide grooves on both sides that the screws fasten into. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that all the slats have the same inclination, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. The distance between the two inner guide grooves in the slat when positioned at an angle is 15mm. The recommended clearance from the bottom when installing the first slat is 42mm.

Surface finish:
Aluminium is generally an excellent material with good corrosion and weather resistance and a long service life. The slat is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and supplied with a wood-effect finish in a wood-effect colour.
The profile is finished with textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven.
This surface finish is characterised by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is designed for use in construction, where shade and gloss durability are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish approximately 1 cm of profile to be left bare at each end for holding during coating. At the ends of the profile, there is a small hole, which you should take into account. This hole does not interfere with installation, but the end can easily be cut off if necessary.
