Description of Aluminium U-shaped retaining profile for slats, 50 mm wide, textured wood-effect finish, walnut
Aluminum fixing profile for fence slats is U-shaped with a textured walnut wood-effect finish. It is suitable for installation between posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile's external width is 50 mm, the overhang is 22 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m, or 6 m.
On the outside of the profile there are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982 with a 3.5x19 mm countersunk head.
FIXING PROFILE COMPATIBILITY:
The profile is suitable for angled installation of the following slat models:

- diagonal aluminum slat in a walnut wood-effect finish with a textured surface, (i.e. the same as the fixing profile)
INSTALLATION METHOD FOR DIAGONAL ALUMINUM SLATS:
The fixing U-profile has pre-recessed grooves; you can pre-drill holes for the screws in the central groove. Inside the hollow slat, there are guide grooves along the sides into which the screw is secured. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same incline, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. The distance between the two inner guide grooves in the slat when angled is 15mm. The recommended distance from the bottom when positioning the first slat is 42mm.

Finish:
Aluminum is generally an excellent material with resistance to corrosion and weathering, and a long service life. The slat is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminum and supplied with a wood-effect finish.
The profile is finished with a textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven.
This finish offers a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing. It is intended for use in construction, where color and gloss retention are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires that at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish approximately 1 cm of profile be left at each end for holding during coating. At the ends of the profile there is a small hole, which should be taken into account. This small hole does not interfere with installation, but the end can easily be cut off if necessary.
