Description of Aluminium U-shaped mounting profile for slats, 50 mm wide
Aluminium fixing profile for fence slats is U-shaped, making it suitable for installation between the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile's external width is 50 mm, the projection is 22 mm and the length is 2m, 3m or 6m.

On the outside of the profile, there are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, countersunk head, 3.5x19 mm.

Surface finish
Aluminium is generally an excellent material, resistant to corrosion and weathering, with a long service life. The fixing profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and is supplied unfinished. Before applying paint, if desired, thoroughly degrease the aluminium surface and roughen it with fine-grit sandpaper.
