Aluminium mounting profile for fence slats has a U-shaped profilewith a textured black RAL 9005 finishso it is suitable for installation between the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile’s external width is 50 mm, the projection is 22 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.

On the outer side of the profile there are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping DIN 7982 countersunk-head screws, 3.5x19 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM RHOMBUS SLATS:
The mounting U-profile has pre-formed grooves; you can pre-drill screw holes in the central groove. Inside the hollow slat, there are guide grooves along the sides for securing the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same incline, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. With the slat installed at an angle, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 15 mm. The recommended distance from the bottom edge when positioning the first slat is 42 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM LOUVRE SLATS:
The mounting U-profile has 5 pre-formed grooves. When installing louvre slats, use the grooves at the edges to pre-drill the screw holes (they are 24 mm apart). Inside the hollow slat, there are guide grooves in the bend for securing the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same incline, creating a regular pattern. Measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. With the slat installed at an angle, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 49 mm.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ALUMINIUM TEARDROP SLATS:
The mounting U-profile has 5 pre-formed grooves: one in the centre, with two grooves on either side. For teardrop-shaped aluminium slats, use the two grooves beside the central one: the second groove in from the right-hand edge and the second groove in from the left-hand edge. The distance between them is 16 mm. Inside the hollow slat, guide grooves run down the centre to secure the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same incline, creating a regular pattern. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the mounting profile to create the pattern you want—open or closed. With the slat installed at an angle, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 29 mm. The height of the slat when installed at an angle in the mounting profile is 89 mm.

FINISH
Aluminium is an excellent material that resists corrosion and weathering and offers a long service life. The mounting profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and is supplied with a black RAL 9005 textured finish.
The profile is finished with a textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven. A matt thermosetting powder coating is used with Qualicoat certification, based on polyester resins and intended for outdoor use..
This finish is characterised by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is intended for construction applications where lasting colour and gloss are essential.
