Description of Aluminium U-shaped fixing profile for slats, 20.5 mm wide
Aluminium fixing profile for fence slats has a U-shaped design, making it suitable for installation between the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The profile's external width is 20.5 mm, the overhang is 23 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m, or 6 m.

On the outside of the profile are recessed grooves for accurately positioning screws horizontally. The recommended screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, countersunk head, 3.5x19 mm.

Surface finish
Aluminium is generally an excellent material, resistant to corrosion and weathering, with a long service life. The fixing profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and is supplied unfinished. Before applying paint, if required, thoroughly degrease the aluminium surface and lightly abrade it with fine-grit sandpaper.
