Description of Aluminium retaining profile for slats, UT-shaped, 20.5 mm wide, with a textured wood-effect finish in walnut
Aluminium fixing profile for fence slats has a U-shaped profile, making it suitable for installation in front of the posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The outer width of the profile is 20.5 mm, the projection is 44 mm and the length is 2m, 3m or 6m.
On the outside of the profile are recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7981 with a pan head, 3.5x19 mm.

The profile is suitable for vertical installation of the following slat models:
- rectangular aluminium slat in various lengths (60, 80, 100, 160)
- rectangular aluminium slat (anodised layer)
- parallelogram-shaped slat

Surface finish
Aluminium is generally an excellent material with corrosion and weather resistance and a long service life. The slat is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and supplied with a textured wood-effect finish.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires that at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish, approximately 1 cm of the profile is left at each end for hanging during painting. At the ends of the profile there is a small hole, which you should take into account. This small hole does not interfere with installation, but if necessary, the end can simply be cut off.
