Description of Aluminium fence slat 80x16 mm, rectangular, with a wood-effect textured finish, walnut
Aluminum slat, with a finish in a wood effect textured, can be used as infill for a fence, gate, or any other space. The slat has a rectangular shape with a height of 80 mm and a width of 16 mm and is available in lengths of 2 m, 3 m, or 6 m.
The slat is hollow and has guide grooves on the sides for fastening screws. The easiest installation method is to use mounting profiles with pre-machined grooves for accurate drilling and screw fastening.
The slat is suitable for creating an opaque infill. To create an opaque infill, combine the slat with a narrow slat (Anodized version). This creates an elegant infill with a thin strip that you can highlight in a different color.

The slats can also be installed vertically, using end caps, which are inserted into the slat from above.

FINISH:
Aluminum is generally an excellent material with resistance to corrosion and weather, and a long service life. The slat is made from aluminum to EN AW-6060 T66 and supplied with a wood-effect finish.
The profile is finished with textured powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven.
This finish is characterized by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing. It is intended for use in construction, where lasting color and gloss are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires at the ends of profiles with a wood-effect finish approximately 1 cm of profile to be left at each end for fastening.
This means that for:
- vertical installation – There is protective tape at the profile ends; please take this into account. If necessary, the end can simply be cut off.
- horizontal installation – There is no issue, as the profile ends can be neatly concealed inside a U-profile.
