Aluminum fixing profile for fence slats U-shaped, with a smooth anthracite RAL 7016 finish, making it suitable for installation between posts on a gate, fence, or other opening. The outer width of the profile is 50 mm, the projection is 22 mm and the length is 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.

The outside of the profile has recessed grooves for precise horizontal positioning of the screws. The ideal screws are stainless steel self-tapping screws DIN 7982, 3.5 x 19 mm, with countersunk heads.

Installation method for aluminum parallelogram slats:
The fixing U-profile has recessed grooves; you can pre-drill screw holes in the central groove. Inside the hollow slat, there are guide grooves along the sides into which the screws are secured. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination and that the pattern has a consistent angle. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 15 mm. The recommended distance from the bottom edge when installing the first slat is 42 mm.

Installation method for aluminum louvre slats:
The fixing U-profile has 5 recessed grooves. When installing louvre slats, use the grooves at the edges to pre-drill the screw holes (they are 24 mm apart). Inside the hollow slat, guide grooves in the fold secure the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination and that the pattern has a consistent angle. Measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 49 mm.

Installation method for aluminum teardrop slats:
The fixing U-profile has 5 recessed grooves: one in the center and two on either side of it. For teardrop-shaped aluminum slats, use the two grooves next to the center groove—the second groove in from each edge. The distance between them is 16 mm. Inside the hollow slat, guide grooves run down the center and secure the screws. When installed at an angle, these guide grooves ensure that each slat has the same inclination and that the pattern has a consistent angle. Simply measure the spacing between the slats on the fixing profile to create the desired pattern—open or closed. When the slat is angled, the distance between its two inner guide grooves is 29 mm. The height of the slat when installed at an angle in the fixing profile is 89 mm.

Finish
Aluminum is generally an excellent material, resistant to corrosion and weathering, with a long service life. The fixing profile is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminum and is supplied with an anthracite RAL 7016 finish.
The profile is finished with a powder coating. After application, the powder coating is cured in an oven. A matte thermosetting powder coating is used with Qualicoat certification, based on polyester resins, designed for outdoor use..
This finish is characterized by a long service life and resistance to UV radiation and yellowing.. It is designed for use in construction, where lasting color and gloss are essential.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires that at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish, approximately 1 cm at each end of the profile is left uncoated for mounting during painting.. At the ends of the profile, there is a small hole, which you should take into account. This small hole does not interfere with installation, but if necessary, the end can easily be cut off.
