Extended warranty
All metal components in this KIT are covered by an extended 36-month warranty. The warranty covers not only metal components but also nylon parts and especially the bearing rollers carriages, which form the basis of a cantilever gate mechanism.
All and automation electronics in our store are covered by the standard warranty of 24 months.
The invoice included with your delivery serves as the warranty certificate.
Description of the KIT for building a cantilever sliding gate
Complete KIT for building a cantilever sliding gate for a clear opening width of up to 3.5 m and a maximum total weight of 400 kg for the cantilever gate. A complete kit with a 5-metre C-profile is available at a discounted price.
The KIT includes load-bearing carriages for cantilever gates with five rollers fitted with heavy-duty bearings. The carriages offer adjustability and pivoting, where the adjustment is used to fine-tune the gate's clearance from the ground, and the pivoting ensures even loading of all bearings under both tension and compression. The carriages are supplied with a mounting plate.
The kit also includes lower stop and guide roller, which “reduce” the strain on the gate and also serve as stop and safety elements. The components in this KIT are selected so that no additional parts need to be purchased (you can, however, add to the kit, for example, a upper stop).
The kit also includes a complete set for automating a sliding gate: gate opener and electronic accessories (remote control, warning light, photocells).
C-profile is welded to the lower gate frame. We recommend using a minimum size of 80x40x2mm for the lower gate-frame section; the other sections can be 40x40, 60x40 or 80x40, depending on the passage width, the overall length of the gate leaf and its intended weight - we can advise you. The gate frame must be robust and stable. Once you have the gate frame, mount the roller carriages on the concrete foundation (use steel anchors, chemical anchors, or cast the roller carriages directly into the foundation using threaded rods). We will provide the concrete foundation dimensions, together with other recommended procedures, along with the products. Alternatively, contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
