Description of Bottom guide rail - galvanized, 80x80
Bottom guide for sliding gate is installed at the beginning, and optionally also at the end, of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a pressure plate tightened with two screws. When closing sliding gate therefore does not hit the bottom stop (e.g. end stop cup) with its body, but with its wheel bottom guide. In practice, when the guide wheel contacts the downward-bent section of the end stop cup guides the gate into the correct height position, and when closed, the gate “rests” in this end stop cup.
An additional option is to install a bottom guide and bottom stop (end stop cup) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates intended to remain open for extended periods.
