Description of Galvanized lower guide ramp

Bottom guide for sliding gate is installed at the beginning and, if needed, at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a pressure plate tightened using two screws. When closing sliding gate, the gate therefore does not hit the bottom stop (e.g. end stop pocket) with its body, but with the wheel bottom guide. In practice, when the guide wheel comes into contact with the downward-bent section of the end stop pocket guides the gate into the correct height position, and when the gate is closed it “rests” in this end stop pocket.

An additional option is to fit a bottom guide and bottom stop (end stop pocket) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates intended to remain open for extended periods.
