Description of Bottom guide roller - galvanized, 68x68
Bottom guide ramp for sliding gate is installed at the beginning, and optionally also at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a clamping plate tightened with two screws. When closing the gate is closing, the gate therefore does not close against the bottom stop (e.g. end-stop pocket) with its body, but with the wheel bottom guide ramp. In practice, when the guide wheel contacts the downward-bent section of the end-stop pocket guides the gate into the correct height position, and when the gate is closed it “rests” in this end-stop pocket.
An additional solution is to install a bottom guide ramp and bottom stop (end-stop pocket) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates intended to remain open for extended periods.
