Description of Bottom guide ramp - galvanized, 140x140
Bottom guide for sliding gate is installed at the beginning, and optionally also at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a pressure plate, which is tightened using two screws. When stopping sliding gate, the gate therefore does not stop against the bottom stop (e.g. end stop pocket) with its body, but with the wheel bottom guide. In practice, when the guide wheel touches the bent-down section end stop pocket guides the gate to the correct height, and when the gate closes it “rests” in this end stop pocket.
An additional solution is to install a bottom guide and a bottom stop (end stop pocket) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates that are intended to remain open for an extended period.
