Description of Bottom guide roller - galvanized, 70x70
Bottom guide ramp for sliding gate is installed at the beginning, and optionally also at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a clamping plate, which is tightened with two screws. When closing of the sliding gate, the gate therefore does not hit the bottom stop (e.g. receiving pocket) with its body, but with its wheel bottom guide ramp. In practice, when the guide wheel touches the downward-bent section of the receiving pocket guides the gate to the correct height, and when the gate is closed, it “rests” in this receiving pocket.
An additional solution is to install a bottom guide ramp and a bottom stop (receiving pocket) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates intended to remain open for long periods.
