Extended warranty
All metal components in this KIT are covered by a 36-month extended warranty. The warranty covers not only metal components but also nylon parts and, in particular, bearing rollers carriages, which form the basis of the cantilever gate mechanism.
All and automation electronics in our store are covered by the standard warranty of 24 months.
The invoice included with your delivery serves as the warranty certificate.
KIT description for building a cantilever sliding gate
Complete KIT for building a cantilever sliding gate for a passage width of up to 3.5 m and a maximum total cantilever gate weight of 400 kg cantilever gate. A complete kit with a 5-metre C-profile is available at a discounted price.
The KIT includes load-bearing carriages for cantilever gates with five rollers fitted with heavy-duty bearings. The carriages feature adjustment and pivoting, where the adjustment is used to fine-tune the gate’s clearance from the ground, while the pivoting action distributes the load evenly across all bearings under both tension and compression. The carriages are supplied with mounting plates.
The kit also includes bottom stop and run-in wheel, which “relieve” the strain on the gate and also serve as stops and safety features. The parts in this KIT are selected so you don’t need to buy any additional components (you can, however, add to the kit, for example, with top stop).
The kit also includes a complete set for automating the sliding gate: gate opener and electronic accessories (remote control, warning light, photocells).
C-profile is welded onto the lower gate frame. We recommend using a minimum of 80x40x2mm for the bottom frame section; the other frame sections can then be 40x40, 60x40 or 80x40, depending on the passage width, the overall gate leaf length and the intended weight - we can advise you. The gate frame must be sturdy and stable. Once you have the gate frame, install the roller carriages on the concrete foundation (use steel anchors, chemical anchors, or cast the carriages directly into the foundation using threaded rods). We will supply the dimensions of the concrete foundation, along with other recommended installation instructions, together with the products. Alternatively, contact us, and we’ll be happy to advise you.
