Description of Drive kit for sliding gates up to 400 kg/6 m NICE Slight SLH400 (C)
The compact NICE Slight SLH400 electromechanical operator is suitable for sliding gates weighing up to 400 kg or with a clear opening width of 6 m. With its dimensions of 191x198 mm the operator is suitable where there is limited space for installation or for design reasons.
Also, thanks to the built-in internal limit stops, there is no need to install limit stops on the rack, allowing the operator to be fitted in situations that would otherwise be difficult to deal with:
- the sliding gate runs in front of the fence - you don't have to install the operator and rack on the outside; you can fit them on the inside, right at the edge of the opening. With a narrow width of 19.1 cm, it reduces the clear opening by only a little, while keeping the operator on the inside.
- the operator can be fitted to a track-mounted sliding gate with very little overhang
The operator comes with the NKA3R10 control unit installed directly inside the operator. Popular practical features of the control unit:
- control by remote controls via a radio receiver
- option to set automatic closing after a set time or after the gate passes the photocells
- inputs for wired opening, closing and step-by-step commands
- 24 V DC output for accessories
- programmable partial opening distance for pedestrian access
- adjustable force and speed
- manual release in the event of a power failure
- option to connect two operators with automatic synchronisation for automating opposing sliding gates.
A backup power supply can be connected to the operator as an optional accessory: NICE PS124, which provides enough power for several cycles even during a power outage. There is enough space inside the operator housing to fit the backup power supply.
The operator features a built-in LED light NICE WLT which can be used as a warning beacon or to illuminate the area.
In principle, the control unit is NKA3R10 technologically very similar to the one in the NICE Robus RB400 operator..
The operator's pinion has module 4 rack teeth.

The NICE Slight operator is also available as the exposed NICE Naked Sliding NKSL400 model. It has the same functionality as the NICE Slight operator but is supplied without a cover and is designed for installation inside a 140x140 mm square profile, making it possible to conceal the sliding gate operator.
