Description of Drive kit for sliding gates up to 400 kg/6 m NICE Slight SLH400 (E)
The compact NICE Slight SLH400 electromechanical gate operator is suitable for sliding gates weighing up to 400 kg or with a clear opening width of 6 m. With its dimensions of 191x198 mm the operator is ideal when installing a sliding gate where space for the operator is limited, or for aesthetic reasons.
Also, thanks to its built-in mechanical limit stops there is no need to install stops on the rack, allowing the operator to be fitted in situations that would otherwise be more difficult to accommodate:
- the sliding gate runs in front of the fence - you don't have to install the operator and rack on the outside; instead, you can position them on the inside, right at the edge of the opening. With its slim width of 19.1 cm, it reduces the opening by only a little, while keeping the operator on the inside.
- can be installed on a track-mounted sliding gate with very little overhang
The operator is supplied with a control unit NKA3R10 fitted inside the operator. Popular practical control unit features:
- control via remote controls using the radio receiver
- option to set automatic closing after a specified time or after the gate passes the photocells
- inputs for wired opening, closing and step-by-step commands
- 24 V DC output for auxiliary devices
- programmable partial-opening distance for pedestrian access
- adjustable force and speed
- manual release in the event of a power failure
- option to connect two operators with automatic synchronisation for automating opposing sliding gates.
A backup power supply can be connected to the operator as an optional accessory NICE PS124, providing enough power for several operating cycles in the event of a power cut. There is enough space inside the operator housing to accommodate the backup power supply.
The operator features a built-in LED light NICE WLT which can be used as a warning beacon or for area lighting.
In principle, the control unit is NKA3R10 technologically very similar to the one in the NICE Robus RB400 operator.
The operator's pinion has module 4.

The NICE Slight operator is also available in an exposed version, the NICE Naked Sliding NKSL400. It has the same functionality but is supplied without a cover and is designed to be installed inside a 140x140 mm square profile, making it possible to conceal the sliding gate operator.
