Slats for adjustable shading
Aluminium slats for adjustable shading on a patio, pergola or gazebo. Simply tilt the slats to add shade, privacy or more airflow. You can use the slats for the roof or a side screen, and their movement is controlled by adjustable slat mechanisms.
Can adjustable slats be cut to size?
Yes, all slats can be cut to the required length.
- Slats with a drainage channel, 94 × 20 mm, are recommended for a maximum length of approximately 2.4 m.
- For other profiles, the maximum length depends on the wall thickness. We recommend keeping thin-walled profiles to approximately 2 m; profiles with a wall thickness of at least 1.5 mm, such as 100 × 20 × 1.5 mm profile, approximately 3 m.
For longer spans, a reinforcing profile can be added to the rear to limit slat deflection.
