GSM module GSM-M1A is replaced by the new GSM module GSM-M2A.
iQGSM-M1A GSM module is designed for remotely controlling devices by calling them from a mobile phone at no charge. The iQGSM-M1A also features an alarm function.. With the alarm, you can keep track and check the gate’s status remotely at any time.. The output relay contact can be used to control garage doors, entrance gates, barriers, etc.
The iQGSM-M1A GSM module includes a backup battery LiPol / 3.7V / 1000mAh to ensure correct operation even during a power outage, for up to 50 hours (when fully charged). The GSM module sends an SMS to up to 6 assigned numbers to report a power outage and when power is restored.
The GSM module has an output for connecting a Dallas temperature sensor. If the set temperature range is exceeded, it sends an SMS alert to up to 6 assigned numbers. Easy installation with no complicated setup, connecting USB cables, installing drivers, software, or an app.

HOW DOES THE GSM KEY WORK?
As you approach the gate, call the GSM key from your mobile phone. It recognizes the caller’s number and carries out the command—opening or closing the gate. You can choose whether the GSM key can be controlled only by phone numbers stored in the device’s memory (high level of security), or by SMS commands containing a password (high level of security and an unlimited number of users), or by calling it from any number (low level of security and an unlimited number of users).

If you install the iQGSM-M1A in a metal enclosure or in an area with poor signal, we recommend purchasing an external antenna (ANT1, ANT2), while signal strength can be improved with a flat adhesive antenna when installing it in a plastic enclosure.
ALARM FUNCTION:
The alarm can also be used with manually operated gates that have no drive.. In this case, it can be powered by an adapter. The control and alarm functions are independent and can operate separately.
The sensor detects whether the gate is open or closed. If the gate remains open longer than the set time (adjustable from 1s to 24h), the owner receives an alarm call notifying them of a fault, failure to close, or intrusion.
After connecting the GSM key to your drive, install a limit switch on the gate and connect it to the iQGSM-M1A using a two-core wire. Only switch contacts may be connected to input IN. It is intended for connecting limit switches and sensors (not for supplying voltage). Limit switches are not included. The switch marked PH-42 is a waterproof magnetic switch with a robust metal housing for outdoor use. For the alarm function to work correctly, this switch or another magnetic contact must be used.
Example of using input IN with gates:
Attach a magnetic contact to the gate that is closed when the gate is closed, then connect it to input IN. Next, set the time allowed for the gate to close (and the magnetic contact to close). If the contact does not close within the selected time, the GSM module will call you.
