Description of NICE MOCF – aluminum post for one pair of photocells with covers, 50 cm
The NICE MOCF post is no longer available,
it has been replaced by a newer model NICE PPH3.
NICE Moon MOCF is a 50 cm-high aluminium post with one covered "socket" for photocells for safer passage (this post may not detect obstacles posed by vehicles with higher ground clearance, such as trailers and semi-trailers, so for added safety you can use an alternative double MOCF2 post, which is 100 cm high and has two sockets for photocells).
It is also ideal for opening the gate when exiting by interrupting the photocell beam (you won't need to let visitors out). To enable this function, you need to modify the photocells. After exiting, the gate closes automatically (if supported by the gate drive).
Another use could be installing a second pair of photocells at the swing gate, because although one pair in the passage prevents the gate from hitting a vehicle, it only protects from one side. Ideally, photocells should also be installed on a post on the other side, just behind the open gate leaves, to protect from both sides. Installing the MOCA1 adapter on the MOCF post
The post can be combined with an adapter NICE MOCA1, which can accommodate a key switch, card reader, or digital keypad.
