Description of NICE MOCF2 – aluminium post for two pairs of photocells with covers, 100 cm
The NICE MOCF2 post is no longer available;
it has been replaced by a newer model NICE PPH4.
NICE Moon MOCF2 is a 100 cm high aluminium post with two covered “sockets” for photocells for even safer passage (an alternative half-height MOCF post is 50 cm high and has only one socket, which may fail to detect vehicles with higher ground clearance, such as trailers and semi-trailers).
It is also ideal for opening the gate on exit when the photocell beam is interrupted (so you don't have to let visitors out). This function requires configure the photocells. After exiting, the gate closes automatically (if supported by the gate operator).
Another use could be installing a second pair of photocells at a swing gate, because although one pair in the passage prevents the gate from hitting a vehicle, it does so from only one side, so it is ideal to install photocells on a post on the other side, just behind the open gate leaves. Ideally, photocells should also be fitted to a post on the other side, just behind the open gate leaves. See examples of photocell placement for different types of gates.
It is best to also purchase a PCM mounting plate.

Installing the MOCA1 adapter on the MOCF2 post
The post can be combined with an adapter NICE MOCA1, which can accommodate key switch, card reader, or digital keypad.
